The founders of Bella Wake, Jasmin and Rosa, have wanted to play in the water since being little kids, and there is no end in sight. It was a beautiful autumn day in 2021, when the founders were talking about their past summer and suddenly they realized that the exact same thing had been on their mind. A new thing for them: wakeboarding, which had immediately interested them. Can this be done in Kuopio? Well, nope, it wasn’t possible. This had to change!
Little by little, they started to draw up plans together so that Kuopio and its neighboring municipalities could have new hobby opportunities, unique experiences and a wonderful place to just hang out. Unfortunately for us all, wakeboarding will still have to wait while they work and refine the plans in order to get a top cable.
However, they already wanted to start other activities in the area, because they wanted to make the joy of experiencing the lakeside sports easily accesible for anyone who is interested in it. “We want everyone to be able to relax in Kuopio’s beautiful lake landscape, in a pleasant atmosphere.”
We are open in the summer season which is usually from the end of May until the end of September. By following us on Instagram or Facebook, you can keep up to date with our opening hours (due to bad weather, we may have to be closed sometimes, unfortunately)

- Waterpark
- 1h tickets, it’s also possible to buy on site an extra hour (or more)
- Family tickets (3-6 people)
- 10-time cards
- Children’s summercamps
- SUP-Yoga

- A cafe with alcohol serving rights
You can pay and reserve a spot online easily and ensure availability beforehand or come and check if we have spots left on site and buy there. We try our very best to provide service in English when you arrive at our place to make you feel safe and welcomed. 🥰
Please note, that ALL OF OUR ACTIVITIES THAT HAPPEN IN WATER, require swimming ability.
